Mindfulness-Based Somatic Therapy

Mindfulness-Based Somatic Therapy® (MBST) is an integrative approach to mind-body-emotion self-regulation for healing trauma.

Informed by research, MBST incorporates innovations in yoga, mindfulness practice, breath work, hands-on healing, somatic & body-oriented processes and neuroscience designed to enhance the body’s own capacity to heal. By focusing on the nature of the body in psychological process, we work with the individual in a more holistic sense toward integration, instead of treating and isolating the affected mind. Through an organic process, individuals are guided to gently release body-stored trauma, experience self-efficacy, gain greater emotional resilience to interact in more adaptive ways to various life’s circumstances with clarity, openness, and heart.
MBST® intuitively integrates a comprehensive system of the following:

Restorative Yoga Postures,
Mindfulness Practice,
Breath Work

Hands-on Healing Modalities
Resilience Enhancement,
Somatic and Body-Oriented Processes
